Once again US Administration wants to rape a country with its innocent citizens. They try to force through a resolution in UN so they can turn IRAQ into a test range for new missile and other weapons. MEANWHILE they in the very same UN uses their VETO whenever anyone tries to aim some kinds of criticism again Israel for their upsetting behavior in Palestina.

[01-09-2000] - I got a baby!

5:th of January 2000 at 20.25 Swedish time)  , my beloved woman delivered our second child. This time it was a boy weighting 3895g and he was 52 cm long. He is ok and all he do right now is sleep, eat and s**t.  I can tell you, we where *VERY* nervous the last days of December, we did not wish him to be the last child of 1900. 

And by the way,  some of the income from the sponsors paid his new perambulator (Twin model).

[01-01-2000] - the World survived - 4 th update since Y2K

Now when Samoa just entered Y2K the whole world is in the new Millennium. Seems like we survived this. Nothing spectacular happened over the world. 

Seems like my OFFICE 2000 replacement was of no use. But you can still download yesterdays release *GRIDSEEKER*

Although I gathered a list of some stuff that has happened:

• For those of you who missed Jean Michele Jarre's live concert from Egypt, you can watch it in REAL VIDEO from here (28k8)

• Some users has reported that certain Voodoo2 gfx cards stoped working due to the yearshift. New drivers has been reported to NOT solve the problem. 

• A nuclear power plant in Japan reported losing
  a computer that monitors plant systems

• DUNDEE.NET their online clock is not correct. It says Welcome to Dundee.Net!. It's 12:25:57 p.m. on Saturday, January 1, 19100

• The NEOGEO isn't either Y2K safe. (according to Gridle)

• Stock exchange in Islamabad, Pakistan,has crashed, because its computers could not read the double-zero date

• bus ticket machines in Australiawas reported to bail out.

• A Bellsouth Corp. spokesman says the telecommunications company had some network congestion, causing delays in dial tone during the changeover in some countries

• The Metrosystems in several cities (Washington and Stockholm out of others) took a small 30 min millennium break during the roll over. 

I think this is it. Our rollover was *VERY* smooth. At monday when work begins I think we'll hear about more strange bugs. Until then, we'll try to get sober again.

Finally, at the LAST day of this millennium we have decided to release Grid Seeker. Btw: don't forget to pay our sponsors a visit. We're depending on that.

As I'm writing this it's only a matter of hours before the first country enters the new millennium. In other words it's only a matter of hours before we have an indication if we should go to the shelters and prepare for a stone age life or if we can go on as usual. :-) I have prepared OFFICE 2000 to be stone age compatible

Y2K update 22.20 Localtime (Stockholm/sweden)

• The most of Asia has passed into Y2K without any hazards. No bigger problems has been reported to the authorities. Even the Nuclear plants stands where they once were built :-)

• In the TV Broadcast it was only the first 5 minutes of the JM Jarre concert that was shown. the realVideo Servers at Virtue TV is overloaded so i can't see it there either. the Swedish mirror of it is not working and I can't find any other! :-(

• Don't Miss EUROPE when they perform "The Final Countdown" LIVE from Stockholm tonight. It will be aired in the broadcast.

• I can feel relieved now, our next child will not be borned during 1999, next weeks looks better!

• The Swedish artist that appeared in the broadcasts was ROBYN. She performed for the Swedish king.

A little update about Y2k (16.40 Local time (GMT +2))

• No big issues about the computers has been reported yet. 

• The first child of Y2K was borned 1 minute past midnight at New Zeeland

• The big problems are expected with Y2K in eastern europe and russia. 

• Some IRC Servers timers has been fucked up. They now report 191000

• Timex official server says: Current time in Auckland, New Zealand is: Saturday, January 1, 19100 - 04:25:19

Anyway just to make the mandatory top-10 list of the millenium 

• A64 - The first emulator I ever heard of. This was a C64 emulator at the AMIGA. Not a good emu but still an emu. 

• System16 - ShinobiZ and Nao's excellent emulator. This was the trigger to why I and ARACORN entered the rom business. (By dumping OUTRUN)

• Genecyst - Sardu's excellent emu for the Genesis/Megadrive. This emulator has been capable of standing the competition for a LONG time. 

• ZSNES - No further comments needed

• VBG (Amiga) - This emulator made me aware about that it was possible to emulate other machines than C= produced things. since this was a couple of years ago VBG was *VERY* buggy 

• NeoRAGE - Thanks Anders and Janne!

• RAINE - Raine was the first answer to my old request about someone should make an Rainbow Islands emulator.. The rest is so to say history.

• MAME - With mame in the picture I got introduced into Arcade game emulators. (think it was around 0.19 or something). 

• Ultra HLE - don't think that this emulator needs a further introduction :)

• MGE - Multi Gauntlet Emulator. This was also one of the earliest emulators I tried out. I really liked it now and then. 

[12-13-99] - My daughters 2nd birthday today!

Today is my daughter 2nd birthday! As some of you know my daughter was borned less than one month after ROMLIST was founded :-)

Although I haven't forgot about you guys! Keep your eyes open the coming days!

It is only 9 days left until the ROMLIST as a site celebrates it's 2 years anniversary. during this time we have provided the community with nearly 200 dumps. We still see the result of our efforts in Emus like RAINE, NEORAGE, MAME and so on. It's quite encouraging for booth of us. But until this 2 years day I would like to build up our download pages again. So I wonder if someone is able and would like to provide us with mirrors big enough to store some of the games? Please let me know.. org@romlist.com. And for those of you who wasn't here in the begining. My daughter was borned 20 days after ROMLIST went online so they are almost same aged :)

btw: I was down in Eindhoven / Holland some weeks ago and meet ATILA. He is the first one in the EMU scene I've meet "live" (except for ARAcorn). I haven't even meet the NEORAGE team even if the live in the same town. Anyway here is a picture of Me and Atila at Atila's office. I'm in the left corner.
